Simon also serves as the founder and pastor of Woven Community, and is a current board member at Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries (FIRM) and Faith in the Valley. Simon is also a former member of the City of Fresno’s Police Reform Commission.

Des is a Downtown Fresno business owner, a B2B Specialist at the Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce (FMBCC), and a vital resource for empowering economic development in the Black community.

Bridget also serves as the Volunteer Engagement Associate at The Trevor Project. As a recent seminary graduate, Bridget’s studies involve researching intergenerational trauma, internal family systems, gender, religion, and exploring racial/social commentaries within hip-hop culture.

Inches Cohort
Woven Coalition for Justice (WCJ) was awarded an INCHES (Informed Narratives for Community Healing and Equitable Systems) grant through the Central Valley Community Foundation. As part of this grant, WCJ along with nine other grassroots organizations are participating in an 8-month-long learning community cohort, focused on topics such as Healing Justice, Effects of Racism in Fresno, and Dialogue Facilitation. The following individuals are participating in the INCHES cohort as WCJ's resident leaders:
